Abstract:: Immunocompromised patients are particularly vulnerable to severe infections and were exposed to an enhanced threat during the COVID-19 pandemic. When the first COVID-19 vaccines became available in 2021, it remained unclear whether these patients would benefit from vaccination by inducing effective immune responses.
