- Abstract:
- Objective: Although aortofemoral bypass (AoFB) is considered the first-line treatment for aortoiliac occlusive disease (AIOD), also known as Leriche syndrome, axillofemoral bypass (AxFB) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) are sometimes used as less invasive alternatives in elderly, multimorbid patients. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of AxFB and PTA in the treatment of AIOD.
