Abstract:: Effective communication is crucial in emergency medicine, especially in mountain rescue, where unpredictable conditions, high stress and limited resources challenge information exchange. This study introduces PEAKS, a structured patient handover tool specifically designed for mountain rescue scenarios, and evaluates its effectiveness through a simulation-based crossover study.
