- This report describes an unusual pattern of spread to retroperitoneal structures in a patient with seminoma of the testis stage T2N3M0. After completion of treatment with chemotherapy and irradiation of the paraaortic and iliopelvic lymphatic trunk, catenoid appearing lesions located at the surface of retroperitoneal organs developed without evidence of concomitant extraperitoneal spread of disease. The site of failure and final course of disease in this particular case is described and discussed.
