Mission Statement

The Division of General Pediatrics is engaged in research in all fields of physiology and diseases of growth and development, the division is part of the corresponding research platforms of the Medical University.

At this time research is especially focused on diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, eating disorders, genetics of infectious diseases, newborn hemostasis, neonatal malformations of the urinary tract, and congenital metabolic disorders.
