Fields of expertise

• Our team is researching the combination of OptoFluidic induced forces on objects in the micro to nano size regime (OF2i-technology) as on-line, realtime (nano)particle characterization technique. It focuses on liquid samples in (continuously) flowing liquid suspensions. The hydrodynamic size of particles is measured by the introduction of optical forces altering particle pathways and the subsequent determination of resulting trajectories which contain size and shape information. .
