Imatinib increases PGE2 levels which leads to an EP4-dependent reduction in cytokine release. These effects can also be observed in imatinib-treated patients at therapeutic doses, highlighting its potential as an anti-inflammatory agent. Copyright © 2018. Published by Elsevier Inc.
