The relation of social support with gender specific stress responses and coping in colonrectal cancer patients - a interculturel randomised study between Graz and Jerusalem
- Abstract
- The planned explorative long-time study using a broad sample of colon cancer patients, married and single ones from two different cultural settings (Graz and Jerusalem) and using standardized methods and a repeated measurements design, shall gain those factors correlated to quality of life and coping with the illness of the patients to be able to create new treatment standards, increasing quality of life and coping and reinforcing the related social functioning of the patients and their functioning in the family.
